Refund policy

Terms and Conditions for Resume Editing Service:

  1. Service Description: The resume editing service provided by ResCraft ("Company," "we," "us," or "our") offers professional formatting and editing assistance for engineers' resumes.

  2. Eligibility: By using our resume editing service, you confirm that you are of legal age and have the authority to enter into this Agreement. If you are using the service on behalf of a company or organization, you represent that you have the authority to bind such entity to this Agreement.

  3. Service Guarantee: We strive to provide accurate and error-free resume editing services. In the event that we return the edited resume with a typographical error or other mistake, the Customer has the right to request a free edit within five (5) business days of receiving the edited resume.

  4. Turnaround Time: We aim to deliver the edited resume within the agreed-upon timeframe. If we fail to provide the edited resume within the agreed purchased turnaround time (i.e. Basic 3 Days or Priority 1 Day), the Customer is entitled to a full refund. The timer for the purchased turnaround time will commence as soon as our team receives your resume via email in the correct file type. Therefore, the first day of the turnaround period will begin from the moment we receive your resume via email, even if the purchase was made earlier.

  5. Customer Responsibilities: The Customer agrees to provide accurate and up-to-date information for the resume editing service. The Customer is responsible for reviewing the edited resume upon receipt and notifying the Company of any errors within the specified time frame.

  6. Confidentiality: The Company shall treat all information provided by the Customer as confidential and will not disclose it to third parties without the Customer's consent, except as required by law.

  7. Intellectual Property: The Customer retains all rights, title, and interest in their original resume. The Customer grants the Company a limited, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to edit and format the resume for the purpose of providing the service.

  8. Limitation of Liability: The Company shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages arising out of or in connection with the resume editing service, including but not limited to lost profits, loss of data, or business interruption.

  9. Governing Law and Jurisdiction: This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Ontario, Canada. Any dispute arising out of or relating to this Agreement shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Ontario, Canada.

  10. Modification of Terms: The Company reserves the right to modify or update these Terms and Conditions at any time. Any changes to the Agreement will be effective immediately upon posting on our website. It is the Customer's responsibility to review the Terms and Conditions periodically for updates.

Return Policy:

  1. Eligibility for Returns: To be eligible for a return, the Customer must have notified the Company of an error in the returned edited resume within five (5) business days of receiving the edited resume.

  2. Return Process: To request a return, the Customer must contact our support team at team@rescraft.io within five (5) business days. The Customer will need to provide details of the error and may be asked to submit proof of the error.

  3. Refund Procedure: Once the error has been verified and acknowledged by the Company, the Customer will receive an updated resume with the error fixed within one (1) business day. Should the updated resume not be sent by the Company within one (1) business day, the Customer is entitled to a 100% refund of the service fee within five (5) days from the date of approval.

  4. Exclusions: The return policy applies only to errors or mistakes made by the Company during the resume editing process. It does not cover any errors or changes made to the resume by the Customer after the editing service is completed.

  5. Non-Refundable Items: Any additional services or products purchased along with the resume editing service are non-refundable.

By using our resume editing service, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by these Terms and Conditions and the Return Policy.
